Los Blancos have reached the winter break in La Liga, with Carlo Ancelotti’s side not due to be back in action until January 3. Plenty of the star turns at his disposal have taken the opportunity to leave Spanish shores and jet off around the world.

Vinicius and Courtois have headed to the United States, with some festive sunshine being sought in California. After making their way to Los Angeles, the pair took in basketball action from courtside seats when the LA Lakers took on the Boston Celtics.

Vinicius mingled with NBA superstar James behind the scenes, as they exchanged Lakers and Brazil jerseys, while Courtois was all smiles before the action began in a game that the hosts lost 126-115 at the Crypto.com Arena.

Real have been without the services of Vinicius and Courtois of late. The Brazil international forward has not taken in competitive game time since suffering a hamstring injury on November 17 while on World Cup qualifying duty, while Belgian goalkeeper Courtois has not played a game this season after suffering ACL damage and being forced to undergo surgery.
