Christian Pulisic is enjoying a sunshine break with partner Alexa Melton after seeing the USMNT flop during Copa America duty on home soil.

WHAT HAPPENED?
The United States had been hoping to still have competitive fixtures on their schedule by this point, with a prestigious continental competition entering the semi-final stage. Gregg Berhalter’s side have, however, already reached the offseason.

DID YOU KNOW?
Defeats to Panama and Uruguay saw collective Copa dreams dashed at the group stage. Pulisic captained his country at that tournament – on the back of a productive domestic campaign at AC Milan – but was unable to provide the required level of inspiration.
THE GOSSIP
Pulisic admits that the USMNT have to improve heading forward, on a path that leads to the 2026 World Cup, but for now he is taking an opportunity to relax and unwind. He has linked up with golf professional girlfriend Melton for a break by the beach.

Pulisic will be due back in Milan for pre-season training, but could return to the States as part of that programme. The Rossoneri are set to face Manchester City, Real Madrid and Barcelona in America during their preparations for the 2024-25 campaign.
