Arsenal chief executive refused to shake hands with Man City counterparts following John Stones' last-gasp equaliser in feisty Premier League clash

Arsenal looked set for a rare victory at City until John Stones salvaged a point with a late equaliser. The defender took aim at the Gunners' "dirty" tactics after the draw, while Mikel Arteta was furious at Trossard's sending off. There was also controversy involving Erling Haaland, as the striker was spotted hurling the ball at Gabriel's head after Stones' equaliser and clashing with Arteta and Gabriel Jesus after the final whistle.

Manchester City’s 98th minute equaliser was their latest goal scored on record in a Premier League match. The goal came from their 28th shot of the second half, the joint-second highest ever by a side on record in a single half of Premier League football.

The result leaves City top of the table and two points clear of Arsenal after five games of the season played. City return to action in the top flight at Newcastle on Saturday, while Arsenal play Bolton in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday and then host Leicester.
