The Ivory Coast international, who will not be taking part in the 2024 Africa Cup of Nations on home soil, has seen another loan switch speculated on with the January transfer window now open. Amad made his return to action off the bench in a meeting with Nottingham Forest at the end of 2023 and is eager to see more minutes heading forward – particularly on home soil. He added: “It’s every child’s dream and every football player’s dream to play at Old Trafford and especially for me: I was born in Africa, and I used to watch matches at Old Trafford on the telly and now to find myself playing on that pitch is something really special for me and I want to savour every minute.”
