AC Milan eye standout Tottenham star Dejan Kulusevski as Zlatan Ibrahimovic initiates contact over deal for Sweden international

Kulusevski has been in fine form for Tottenham Hotspur this season despite their struggles under Ange Postecoglou to gather consistent results. The Sweden international joined Spurs from Serie A side Juventus after initially spending a season on loan with the north London side. Now, though, he is being eyed by AC Milan.

Italian publication MilanLive reports that Milan are interested in bringing Kulusevski back to the Serie A this January as the Rossoneri are keen on improving their performances this season following their sacking of Paulo Fonseca as Sergio Conceicao takes over the mantle of head coach. Milan have been long-term admirers of the Sweden international are keen to make him their number one target this winter.

As per the report from MilanLive, AC Milan executive and former Sweden international Zlatan Ibrahimovic has already had a personal chat with Kulusevski to try and convince the Swede to move to Italy.

The Rossoneri parted ways with Fonseca right after their disappointing 1-1 draw with Roma on Sunday and have onboarded Conceicao, who will take on his first challenge in the form of Kulusevski's former club Juventus in the Supercoppa Italiana on January 3 in Saudi Arabia.
