How to watch WWE Crown Jewel: Start time, full match card, TV channel & streaming links

The clock is ticking on John Cena’s wrestling career. It’s been an emotional period for grappling fans since the ring legend announced he would be calling time on the WWE at the end of 2025. At WWE Crown Jewel on October 11, Cena reaches another significant milestone on the retirement road as he takes part in his final overseas fight (vs AJ Styles).

Crown Jewel may have only appeared on the WWE scene in 2018, but it has already become one of the annual highlights for wrestling fans, alongside the more established standout events, like Wrestlemania, Royal Rumble, SummerSlam, Survivor Series, and Money in the Bank. However, there is something novel about this year’s Crown Jewel, as for the first time ever, it will be staged outside Saudi Arabia.

The first six exhilarating editions of Crown Jewel that took place in Riyadh may have been a huge success, but with the upcoming Royal Rumble (May 2026) being held in Saudi Arabia, this year's Crown Jewel has moved to a new location, that of the RAC Arena in Perth, Australia. The event hasn't lost its Saudi connection completely, though, as it will still be sponsored by the General Entertainment Authority via Riyadh Season.

WWE organizers had been looking to host another huge event in Australia ever since the success of last year’s Elimination Chamber, which was also held in Perth, and the Crown Jewel shift fits into their jigsaw perfectly. It’s set to be an epic wrestling weekend down under, with episodes of Friday Night SmackDown (October 10) and Monday Night Raw (October 13) also being held in the Australian city.

As last year, the two feature Crown Jewel bouts will see the Raw and SmackDown's world champions in the men's and women's divisions collide. The winners of both will become Crown Jewel champions, each receiving a title belt that contains 50 carats worth of diamonds. The inaugural 2024 winners were SmackDown's Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and Raw's Women's World Champion Liv Morgan.

Cody Rhodes will once again feature in the main men's event at Crown Jewel, and he'll be looking to retain the title after beating Gunther in Riyadh last year. However, 'The American Nightmare', who clashes with Seth Rollins, has a way to go to surpass Roman Reigns' Crown Jewel record. Reigns has ruled the roost in three successive Crown Jewel top-of-the-bill bouts, overpowering Brock Lesnar, Logan Paul, and LA Knight between 2021-2023 in the Saudi capital.

Other WWE stars set to perform in Perth include the likes of Roman Reigns, Bronson Reed, Stephanie Vaquer, Tiffany Stratton, AJ Styles, Rhea Ripley, and Iyo Sky. Rhea Ripley and Bronson Reed, who both hail from Adelaide, are guaranteed vocal receptions from the Aussie crowd, although Ripley's may be more positive, considering Reed is playing heel as the 'Tribal Thief' when he takes on the 'Tribal Chief', Roman Reigns. Ripley famously defended the Women's World Championship belt when defeating Nia Jax in front of 50,000+ in Perth at Elimination Chamber last year.

Let GOAL show you all the vital information you need to know ahead of WWE Crown Jewel, including how to view all the thrilling action and which wrestling match-ups await the Australian crowd and those watching or streaming from home.

The WWE stars are back in Australia for the first time since Elimination Chamber in February 2024, which was staged at the Optus Stadium in Perth. You have to go back to 2002 for the first time WWE hit Australian shores, though. In that year, Melbourne was the venue for the ‘WWE Global Warning Tour’, with The Rock, Triple H, Brock Lesnar, Edge, Chris Jericho, Rey Mysterio, and Randy Orton all starring on the bill.

WWE returns to the Western Australian capital city of Perth once again, but this time the wrestling spotlight falls on the RCA Arena. which is an entertainment and sporting venue in the city center of Perth, that opened in 2012. The arena is regularly used for basketball and netball, with the Perth Wildcats (National Basketball League) and the West Coast Fever (Suncorp Super Netball) playing their home games at the 15,000 capacity arena.

Match storylines

Cody Rhodes vs Seth Rollins

At Wrestlepalooza, Cody Rhodes retained his Undisputed WWE Title when beating Drew McIntyre, which guaranteed him the opportunity to defend his Crown Jewel title in Perth. His opponent in Australia, Seth Rollins, captured the World Heavyweight Title when ripping the belt from CM Punk’s grasp at SummerSlam. Rollins defeated CM Punk, Jey Uso, and LA Knight at Clash in Paris in his most recent title defense. Rollins is going to have to do something he’s never done before if he is to reign supreme in Perth. Amazingly, he’s never beaten Cody Rhodes in 22 encounters going back to 2010.

Stephanie Vaquer vs Tiffany Stratton

Time flies when you’re having fun, and it's been quite a year for Tiffany Stratton. She hasn’t looked back since wrestling the WWE Women's Title from Nia Jax’s clutches at a memorable WWE Friday Night SmackDown on January 3 in Phoenix. She's defended the belt 16 times over the course of the year with standout victories over common nemesis Jade Cargill at SummerSlam, Trish Stratus at Evolution, and Charlotte Flair at Wrestlemania. Stratton now sets her sights on the Women's World Champion, Stephanie Vaquer. Vaquer has had a remarkable year herself, progressing from the WWE NXT ranks to claiming the greatest honor in the realm of Raw when beating Ivo Sky at Wrestlepalooza. En route to the title belt, she also won the ‘20 Woman Battle Royal’ at Evolution in July.

John Cena vs AJ Styles

John Cena Elimination Chamber Getty Images

John Cena has been involved in a number of memorable encounters with high-profile rivals at the biggest WWE events during his retirement year. Some Cena highs so far in 2025 include beating Cody Rhodes and claiming the Undisputed WWE Title at Wrestlemania, beating Randy Orton at Backlash, and overpowering CM Punk at Night of Champions. However, the self-dubbed 'Greatest Of All Time', arrives in Perth looking for a positive response after suffering a heavy loss to fellow ring legend, Brock Lesnar, at Wrestlepalooza.

In a promo prior to his match at Clash in Paris, John Cena listed wrestlers he wanted to face before he hung up his wrestling boots at the end of 2025. The name of a former rival, AJ Styles, who is also 48 years young like Cena, was on that list. Styles responded, saying he welcomed the challenge, and Paul 'Triple H' Levesque subsequently confirmed the match. The pair have met 4 times in feature bouts in the past, with their head-to-head record at 2-2, so this is set to be the decider.

Rhea Ripley & Iyo Sky vs The Kabuki Warriors

Rhea Ripley Kairi Sane WWEGetty Images

The crowd will be buzzing when Aussie sensation, Rhea Ripley, heads to the Perth ring with Iyo Sky to take on The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka & Kairi Sane). The Kabukis have been attacking Sky for weeks, and they also antagonized Ripley recently during an episode of WWE Raw, when Asuka misted 'The Eradicator'. After Asuka spat poison mist in both Ripley and Sky's eyes, it was cemented that Iyo Sky would leave her family and fight alongside Ripley in a tag team match at Crown Jewel.

Roman Reigns vs Bronson Reed

It's official, 'The Original Tribal Chief' is back in the ring with a bout against 'The Vision's' Bronson Reed. After saving Jey and Jimmy Uso against Bronson Reed and Bron Breaker on Monday night RAW, WWE has now turned the newly built animosity between Reed and The Vision faction into a headline match at Crown Jewel. The fact that it's an Australian Street Fight will also make it interesting, meaning nothing is off bounds. Weapons, brawls in the crowd, and no count-outs are expected, which plays right into the intense nature of this rivalry.
