Legendary Mamelodi Sundowns striker Phil Masinga says fatigue amongst other things is not affecting the team.
The reigning Caf Champions League and PSL champions finally returned to winning ways when they hammered SuperSport United 5-0 in a domestic league clash in Tshwane on Thursday.
“I don’t think it was because of fatigue. They have proven themselves in some games. I watched their game recently when they played against (Bloemfontein) Celtic they created so many chances, but unfortunately, the players had forgotten their scoring boots at home,” Masinga told Goal.
“There was nothing wrong with the way they were playing (during their winless run). It’s not like they awere down and out, they play good football,” he said.
“They were not showing that they were tired. Most of their players are still prepared to work hard and obviously, you know being the champions every team wants to beat you and that’s what Sundowns is facing right now,” Masinga concluded.
