    Bayern CEO, Jan-Christian Dreesen, has told Sky Deutschland: “Yesterday we narrowly missed the match point, today we're German champions – heartfelt congratulations to our team and the coaching staff led by Vincent Kompany, who delivered a masterpiece in his first season.

    “We all heartily congratulate Harry Kane, who has already scored an incredible 80 goals for us and has shown everyone: Kane can win titles! Dear Bayern family, we're champions again – and the trophy will be back home next Saturday.”

    Kane has hit 36 goals for Bayern this season, with 24 of those being recorded in Bundesliga competition. Said return has him on course to claim a second Golden Boot in Germany, while his contract is due to run until the summer of 2027.
