Cristiano Ronaldo to be coached by former team-mate as Al-Nassr turn to ex-AC Milan manager after Luciano Spalletti rejected €54m offer from Saudi giants
Al-Nassr are reportedly considering the appointment of former AC Milan coach Sergio Conceicao, who played alongside Cristiano Ronaldo.
According to a report from La Gazzetta dello Sport, Saudi Pro League heavyweights Al-Nassr have turned their attention towards Ronaldo's former team-mate in Conceicao to take charge of the team after failing to secure Luciano Spalletti's signature.
Conceicao was most recently the head coach of AC Milan, but he was relieved of his duties at the end of the season after failing to inspire the Rossoneri to a Champions League spot for the 2025-26 season. Conceicao, a former Portuguese international, is enticed by the idea of reuniting with Ronaldo, with whom he shared the dressing room while playing for Portugal for a couple of games in 2003.

WHAT NEXT FOR AL-NASSR?
Al-Nassr are expected to invest heavily this summer with the idea of reinforcing the team. Such a project, along with Ronaldo's presence, could convince Conceicao to consider coaching the club next season.
