Disasi was a regular starter for the Blues following his arrival from Monaco in 2023, but he has fallen out of favour since Maresca's appointment in the summer. The 26-year-old has played only three times in the Premier League this season, with Maresca instead using him more frequently, and even giving him the captain's armband, in the Conference League.

With Benoit Badiashile and Wesley Fofana both out injured, Maresca will not tell the club to sell the Frenchman, the report adds, meaning he could be given another chance to impress in the Premier League in the coming weeks.
