VIDEO: Weah makes it two goals in two games for Celtic

Timothy Weah scored for his second straight game as a Celtic player in Wednesday's 4-0 win over St. Mirren in the Scottish Premiership. 

The 18-year-old American joined the Hoops on loan from Paris Saint-Germain earlier this month, and he has not taken long to make an impact with his new club. 

Weah scored on his Celtic debut at the weekend, netting off the bench in a 3-0 Scottish Cup win over Airdrieonians.

And Weah repeated the trick on his league debut Wednesday, latching onto a through ball and scoring Celtic's fourth goal of the game in the 86th minute. 

Weah, the son of Liberian legend George Weah, made his senior debut for PSG last season, and featured for the French side in their first two Ligue 1 games this season. 

But the teenager would not make another appearance for PSG after that, forcing him to seek out playing time on loan. 

Though his minutes with PSG dried up this season, Neymar believes his team-mate has a big future ahead of him. 

“It is a very exciting move for him, from what I have seen of his talent he has everything to go and be one of the top attacking players in Europe," the PSG star told the Daily Record.

“It is a good move for him, a good move for Celtic as they are getting such a big talent, and also a good move for PSG because he has a chance to get experience and games and come back to us a more complete player."

Weah has also made the breakthrough to the senior U.S. national team, having earned eight caps since making his debut in March 2018.
