Super Eagles B defeat Oyah FC in friendly

Nigeria B team defeated Nigeria Nation-wide League side Oyah FC 2-0 in a local friendly encounter played at the Fifa Goal Project pitch on Friday.

Rabiu Ali fired the national team side in front from the spot in the first half before Anthony Okpotu's second half strike sealed the victory for Salisu Yusuf's men.

The test match was happening two days after the resumed to camp after a one-day break for the festive season and the team's second after a 1-0 win over Water FC of Abuja.

Meanwhile, the Super Eagles B will continue their preparations with another tune-up game on Saturday as Salisu plans to name his final 23-man squad in coming days.

The team are drawn against Libya, Rwanda, and Equatorial Guinea and expected to fly out of the country to finalise their strategies in Morocco on January 3.

They will begin their campaign at the fifth edition of the biennial tournament against Rwanda at the Stade Ibn Batuota in Tangier on January 15.
