Russia 2018: Neymar a no-show at Brazil training

Brazil got off to a less-than-ideal start to the 2018 World Cup when they were held to a 1-1 draw by Switzerland in Group E.

Though Philippe Coutinho gave them the lead with a stunning strike, Steven Zuber's second-half header restored parity and ultimately handed the Swiss a point from the game. But the biggest talking point from the game was the performance of star forward Neymar.

In fact, he was fouled 10 times during the match and was seen clutching his leg in pain on several occasions, leading to anxiety among the Selecao faithful.

Now, Brazil have a must-win match against Costa Rica coming up but alarmingly, Tite's men took to training on Monday without their star man.

Neymar was nowhere to be seen as Marcelo and co. knocked the ball about as they prepared for a crucial clash. Paulinho and Thiago Silva were also not present in training but the supporters would be anxious to know whether Neymar is 100 per cent fit.
