A return to Belgium appears most likely for Socceroos goalkeeper Mat Ryan as his time at Valencia is set to come to an end.

Goal's Valencia correspondent Cesar Hurtado believes the La Liga club have effectively moved on from Ryan, who has dropped to third in the goalkeeping pecking order behind Diego Alves and Jaume Domenech, but the 24-year-old Australian's future remains unclear.

Osasuna were interested in signing Ryan on loan but Valencia would prefer to sell the gloveman and are especially wary of loaning him to a rival in their battle against relegation.

Leganes and Granada are also reportedly interested in Ryan but Valencia's focus on not strengthening a La Liga rival indicates the ex-Central Coast Mariners goalkeeper could leave Spain altogether.

Ryan thrived in his two seasons with Club Brugge in Belgium before joining Valencia in 2015 and has been linked with a return to the Belgian Pro League leaders as well as Anderlecht and Gent.

Meanwhile, Ryan's Socceroos team-mate Milos Degenek could also be on the move with reports in the German media that he is set to join a Chinese club.

In the Eredivisie, Daniel De Silva has confirmed his departure from Roda JC where he has spent the past 18 months on loan from Perth Glory but the 19-year-old seems unlikely to return to the A-League club.

Thankyou @instarodajc for the past year and a half been a pleasure, and goodluck for the future!

De Silva wrote on Instagram: "Thank you Roda JC for the past year and a half been [sic] a pleasure and good luck for the future."

Another Australian based in the Netherlands - Stefan Mauk - could also be packing his bags, at least temporarily, with The World Game reporting NEC Nijmegen want to send the ex-Adelaide United midfielder on loan for the rest of the season.

Italy, Norway and Denmark have been mentioned as possible destinations.
