Real Madrid v Paris Saint-Germain Betting Preview: More Champions League success for Ronaldo

Having been consistently linked with a move to Real Madrid, Neymar will be looking to put in a star performance when Paris Saint-Germain visit the Santiago Bernabeu in Wednesday's Champions League clash.

After leaving Barcelona last summer in order to escape from Lionel Messi's shadow, the Brazil international has scored 27 goals in 27 matches for Les Parisiens so far.

Neymar to net?

On the scoresheet in five of his side's six group stage matches, he is available at 9/2 (5.50) with bet365 to open the scoring in high profile circumstances here, or 21/20 (2.05) to strike anytime.

Despite his prolific form, Neymar has still been forced to share top bill with Edinson Cavani, whose 28 goals this season have made him the French club's all-time top scorer.

Also boasting six goals in six Champions League games, the former Napoli striker is priced at the same 21/20 (2.05) odds to strike against Madrid for the first time in his career.

Ronaldo goal on the cards

However, both of those players still have a long way to go in order to match the achievements of record Champions League goalscorer Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Portuguese is well on course to win the competition's top scorer crown for the sixth consecutive season after grabbing nine times in six group games.

Having hit a hat trick in Saturday's 5-2 win over Real Sociedad, the 33-year-old looks like a solid bet at 5/6 (1.83) to maintain his record of scoring in every game so far in this season, as well as 15/4 (4.75) to break the deadlock.

Ronaldo represents a particularly reliable selection due to his position as Los Blancos' main goal threat, out-scoring the rest of his team-mates by a considerable distance.

Mbappe an option

With just eight goals to his name in all competitions, Gareth Bale hardly offers much temptation at 6/4 (2.50) anytime odds, while Karim Benzema doesn't inspire much faith either at 13/8 (2.63) after scoring only six goals in 25 games.

In contrast, Neymar and Cavani are supported by Kylian Mbappe, whose 15 goals in 27 starts make him an appealing prospect at 6/4 (2.50) in a match not short of goal-scoring potential.
