Lille agree deal for Weah


Lille have agreed a deal for Paris Saint-Germain striker Timothy Weah, according to RMC Sport.

The USMNT international spent the season on loan with Celtic but will now sign a five-year contract with the Ligue 1 outfit.

PSG are currently looking to sell several players so as to fall inside the Financial Fair Play rules.

Cillessen leaves Barcelona for Valencia


Valencia have confirmed the signing of Dutch goalkeeper Jasper Cillessen from Barcelona for a fee of €35 million (£31.4m/$39.8m).

He has signed a four-year deal at Mestalla, with an €80m (£72m/$91m) release clause included with the contract.

The 30-year-old joined Barca from Ajax in 2016 but has been unable to secure a regular place in Ernesto Valverde's starting XI.

Trapp to leave PSG for Eintracht Frankfurt


Kevin Trapp is close to leaving Paris Saint-Germain to join Eintracht FrankfurtLe Parisien reports.

The 28-year-old goalkeeper spent last season on loan at the Bundesliga side, who have been working on a permanent deal this summer.

PSG have already waved goodbye to one shot stopper, having seen Gianluigi Buffon leave after just one season but could be set to see another one go this month.

Semedo joins Olympiacos


Ruben Semedo has joined Olympiacos from Villarreal in a €4.5 million move, the Greek side confirmed.

The 25-year-old has been a controversial figure in Spain since joining the Yellow Submarine two years ago. He was arrested for allegedly brandishing a pistol in a bar in Valencia and then charged for attempted murder after it was said he tied up and assaulted a man before burgling the victim's home.

He made only five appearances for Villarreal as he was sent on loan to Huesca and Rio Ave.

Balotelli to join Brescia?


Mario Balotelli has started training with his Brescia to maintain his fitness after being released from Marseille.

The Italian striker is without a club and is reportedly eager to play in Italy again, with Parma apparently considering offering him a deal.

But the 28-year-old has gone to Brescia to help him stay in good shape as he considers his next move.

Balotelli has repeatedly expressed his love for Brescia and the club have talked about signing him before. 

Napoli & Roma near Manolas deal


Napoli are close signing Kostas Manolas from Roma, with Amadou Diawara going the other way, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.

Napoli have been trying to sign the Greek centre-back for some time but are set to wrap up the deal by paying €34 million.

And he will earn about €4.5m per season at the Stadio San Paolo.

Chelsea send Nartey on loan to Burton Albion


Richard Nartey has joined Burton Albion on loan from Chelsea, it has been confirmed.

The 20-year-old centre-back will spend the season at the League One side in his first move away from Chelsea.

"This is probably the best club (to join) that's equivalent to Chelsea at playing out [from the back]. I’ve watched a couple of the games and it’ll be a similar philosophy here," he said.

Celtic lead Norwich & Middlesbrough in Connell battle


Celtic are leading the race to sign Luca Connell from Bolton this summer but face competition from Middlesbrough and Norwich The Sun reports.

The 18-year-old Republic of Ireland midfielder is already in negotiations with the Scottish side but Norwich and Middlesbrough are both excited by him.

Leeds snub Aston Villa bid for Phillips


Leeds have rejected an offer from Aston Villa for Kalvin Phillips, according to Football Insider.

The 23-year-old defensive midfielder played 46 games in all competitions in 2018-19 and Villa are said to have bid £10 million to sign him.

But Leeds are not willing to let him go this summer, as they are already set to lose Jack Clarke to Tottenham.

Inter close in on €22m Lazaro signing


Inter are nearing the €22 million (£20m/$25m) signing of Valentino Lazaro, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.

The Italian side have reached an agreement with Hertha Berlin over a fee, leaving just the finer details to be hammered out before they complete the signing.

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is not interested in making a big-money move for Paul Pogba given the Manchester United man's price tag, says Don Balon.

The former Barcelona and Juventus man is thought to be open to a move to the Premier League, regarding it as the strongest technical division in world football right now.

Juventus close in on Cuadrado extension


Juventus are closing in on handing Juan Cuadrado an extension that would run through until 2021.

The Colombian's current deal expires in 2020 but the Serie A side are hopefully of keeping him on the books for another year

New coach Maurizio Sarri wishes to hold onto his services, with the decision to extend his deal thought to have been one of his first calls in the hot seat.

Napoli president speaks on Manolas and Rodriguez


Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has discussed transfer targets including Kostas Manolas and James Rodriguez at a recent event, reports

The Serie A side have been linked with a €36 million (£32m/$41m) move for the Roma defender, while they are also in talks over a move for James, but whether that proves to be a permanent deal or a loan deal remains to be seen.

Speaking about the pair, De Laurentiis said: "Manolas and Koulibaly would form a great duo.

"Rodriguez? No one has told me that it wouldn't go well for us, there is a great relationship between him and Ancelotti."

Man Utd targeting Ben Yedder as Lukaku replacement


Manchester United are interested in making a move to sign Wissam Ben Yedder if Romelu Lukaku leaves the club this summer, reports ABC de Sevilla.

The Red Devils could trigger the French forward's €40 million (£36m/$45m) release clause should the Belgian depart, with Inter said to be his most likely destination.

The Sevilla striker scored 18 goals in 35 La Liga games last season, adding a further 10 in 13 Europa League fixtures.

Cavani confirms PSG stay


Edinson Cavani has confirmed that he wishes to stay at Paris Saint-Germain until the end of his current contract in 2020, reports L'Equipe.

The striker is currently on international duty with Uruguay in the Copa America, scoring two goals in three games in Brazil.

Real Sociedad president confirms interest in Real Madrid duo


Real Sociedad president Jokin Aperribay has confirmed that the club are interested in moves for Real Madrid duo Borja Mayoral and Martin Odegaard, reports AS.

Aperribay admitted that there is no agreement between the two clubs at this stage, and that Real Sociedad would likely need to sell a striker before bringing in Mayoral.

Regarding Odegaard, the club president revealed that they have been in discussions with the Norwegian for "two or three months" and that the decision is now up to both Los Blancos and the player himself.

Inter to extend Radu contract and loan to Genoa for another year


Inter are set to extend goalkeeper Ionut Radu's contract until 2024 before sending the Romanian back on loan to Genoa for one more season, reports Gazzetta dello Sport (via

The Romania Under-21 international spent last season on loan with Genoa, and the Nerazzuri will exercise their buy-back option before shipping him back to Stadio Luigi Ferraris.

Radu made 33 appearances in Serie A last season as the club finished 17th, narrowly avoiding relegation.

Wolfsburg sign RB Salzburg midfielder Xaver Schlager


VfL Wolfsburg have signed Austrian midfielder Xaver Schagler from Red Bull Salzburg.

The 21-year-old has penned a four-year contract with the Bundesliga club, becoming their fourth summer signing after Kevin Mbabu, Joao Victor  and Paolo Otavio.

Speaking to the club's official website, Schlager said: "VfL Wolfsburg offers a professional as well as a family environment and I am convinced that I can best develop myself here."

Romagnoli moves to Spartak


Spartak Moscow have signed goalkeeper Andrea Romagnoli from AC Milan, according to DiMarzio.

The 24-year-old, who has been pictured posing with Spartak branding, will move for around €2.5 million (£2.2m/$2.8m) and sign a two-year contract at the club.

Romagnoli spent last season on loan with Renate and Pisoiese.

Watford 'have made offer' to Roma's Alisson replacement


Roma goalkeeper Robin Olsen has an offer on the table from Watford, according to the Corriere dello Sport - but no agreement has been reached between the clubs.

The 29-year-old Sweden international was brought in as a replacement for Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson, but failed to make the grade and Roma are now actively looking to offload him.

Roma paid Copenhagen £8.1 million ($10.3m) for him last summer, and will be hoping to recoup as much of that fee as possible.

Porto want Japan international Nakajima


Porto are interested in signing Japan international Shoya Nakajima but may struggle to match his wages, according to A Bola.

Winger Nakajima, 24, has 13 caps for Japan and has played in Portugal before, previously turning out for Portimonense across two successful spells.

Now at Qatari club Al-Duhail, his salary of around €3.5 million (£3.1m/$4m) a year could prove a stumbling block as Porto look to replace Yacine Brahimi.

Seagulls sign Genk winger Trossard


Brighton have confirmed the signing of 24-year-old winger Leandro Trossard on a four-year contract from Belgian champions Genk.

Trossard, 24, joins for a fee thought to be around £15 million ($19m) after starring for Genk last season, notching 14 goals and seven assists in the league alone.

“We are delighted to welcome Leandro to the club and excited about the impact he can have for us," new manager Graham Potter told the club's website.

“He’s an attack-minded player who had a very impressive season last year in helping Genk win the league title. At 24 he also brings good experience, having captained the side and also featured many times in the Europa League.”

Zaha wants Arsenal move - but they can't afford him


Arsenal priced out of Zaha move

Crystal Palace star Wilfried Zaha is keen on a move to Arsenal, but the Gunners can't afford him according to BBC Sport correspondent David Ornstein.

The Eagles want around £80 million ($101.4m) for the 26-year-old, a figure which Arsenal simply cannot match after failing to qualify for the Champions League.

Palace's need to sell has will also be greatly diminished by the huge fee they are expected to bring in from Manchester United for right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

Eibar sign Tejero from Madrid


Eibar have announced the signing of 22-year-old right-back Alvaro Tejero from Real Madrid on a five-year contract.

Tejero joined Madrid's youth set-up back in 2005 but only went on to make one league appearance for the club, coming off the bench to make his debut back in 2017.

He spent last season on loan with Albacete in the Segunda Division, and joins for a fee thought to be around €3 million (£2.7m/$3.4m).

Wolves target Mendes client Vinicius


Wolves are considering a move for Napoli striker and Jorge Mendes client Carlos Vinicius, according to the Corriere dello Sport.

The 24-year-old scored ten league goals between loan spells at Rio Ave and Monaco last season, and at 6'3" tall his physical presence would offer Wolves an extra angle to their attack.

It is thought Wolves may be readying an offer of around €20 million (£18m/$22.8m) for the Brazilian, who is yet to make an appearance for Napoli after joining last year.

Man Utd 'reach agreement' for £50 million Wan-Bissaka transfer


The Red Devils look to have finally got their man as Crystal Palace agree fee

Manchester United have agreed a £50 million ($63m) deal to sign Aaron Wan-Bissaka from Crystal Palace, reports the BBC.

The Red Devils have been heavily linked with the right-back for much of the summer transfer window so far after he impressed during his debut Premier League season.

Now it appears that the two clubs have come to an agreement over the 21-year-old, who will reportedly see his wages rise to £90,000 per week at Old Trafford.


Roma 'agree deal' with Inter over Dzeko transfer


Roma have finalised a deal with Inter for the transfer of striker Edin Dzeko, reports Sky Sport Italia.

The Bosnian will join Inter for a fee of €10 million (£9m/$11m) with 18-year-old forward Edoardo Vergani heading to the Giallorossi as part of the deal.

The move will see the 33-year-old, who scored 9 goals in 33 league games for Roma last season, move to the San Siro at the end of June.

Arsenal close in on €25 million-rated William Saliba


Arsenal are set to make Saint-Etienne defender William Saliba their first signing of the summer transfer window, reports ESPN.

Tottenham and Paris Saint-Germain were also interested in the France Under-19 international, but the Gunners have come out on top in the race for the 18-year-old.

As part of the deal, Saliba will remain with Saint-Etienne on loan in order to play regular first-team football before moving to England.

Aubameyang move to Manchester United could pave way for Lukaku to join Inter


Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang making the switch from Arsenal to Manchester United would aid Inter in their pursuit of Romelu Lukaku, reports Corriere dello Sport (via

The Serie A club have been heavily linked with a move for the Belgian international, with his agent Federico Pastorello saying 'nothing is impossible' regarding a potential move.

Aubameyang meanwhile has been at the Emirates Stadium since January 2018, and scored 22 Premier League goals in 36 appearances last season.

Valencia interested in signing €25 million-rated Ayoze Perez


Valencia are interested in signing wantaway Newcastle forward Ayoze Perez, Goal understands.

Sources close to the club believe the La Liga outfit are close to making an offer for the Spaniard, who wishes to leave after the Magpies announced that Rafa Benitez would be leaving his post as manager.

The Premier League side's valuation of the forward could prove to be a stumbling block however, with Valencia unlikely to shell out €25m (£22m/$28m) as things stand.

Aston Villa and Norwich target Stade de Reims goalkeeper


Stade de Reims goalkeeper Edouard Mendy has emerged as a transfer target for newly promoted Premier League clubs Aston Villa and Norwich City, according to L'Equipe.

The Senegalese stopper made 38 appearances in Ligue 1 last season as he helped Reims finish eighth in their first season back in the French top-flight.

Liverpool will not sell goalkeeper Simon Mignolet to Crystal Palace for £8 million ($10m), reports ESPN.

The Belgian made just two appearances for the Reds last season and is a target for the Eagles this summer, but Jurgen Klopp reportedly intends for him to remain at Anfield.

Borussia Monchengladbach are poised to complete the signing of forward Breel Embolo from Schalke on Wednesday, say WAZ.

Swiss international Embolo, 22, has scored 12 goals in three seasons as Schalke, and would likely welcome the step up with Gladbach having qualified for this year's Europa League.

Should the signing go through, Embolo would join international teammates Yann Sommer, Nico Elvedi, Michael Lang and Denis Zakaria at the club.

Rangers 'doing everything' for Kent return


Rangers manager Steven Gerrard says he is doing everything in his power to bring Liverpool youngster Ryan Kent back to the club.

Kent, 22, spent last season on loan at Parkhead and impressed with six goals in 27 league appearances.

"I can assure the fans we’re doing everything we can to try to get Ryan back," Gerrard said. "The key thing that people need to understand is that Ryan has got to want this.

Inter want Lukaku, agent confirms


Romelu Lukaku's agent Federico Pastorello has confirmed Inter's interest in taking the Manchester United forward to Serie A.

Per the Independent, Lukaku would be open to the move - but Antonio Conte's side are yet to match United's £80 million (€89.2m) valuation.

“Lukaku [joining Inter] is a dream, a difficult one to make happen as such, but I believe nothing is impossible," Pastorello said. "It’s not impossible and Inter is trying hard.”

Torino want Dutch left-back Ouwejan


Torino are targeting AZ Alkmaar's 22-year-old left-back Thomas Ouwejan, according to Voetbal International.

Ouwejan, who has been capped 28 times across four youth levels with the Netherlands, is thought to be ready to take the next step in his career, though he has previously expressed a preference for the Bundesliga.

AZ are likely to be able to command a good fee for the player, who signed a new contract until 2022 only last year.

Jullien to finalise Celtic move


Celtic are moving closer to confirming the signing of French defender Christopher Jullien from Toulouse, according to La Depeche.

The towering 26-year-old was one of Neil Lennon's primary targets this summer, and Celtic are thought to have fended off interest from the Bundesliga to land their man.

Personal terms and a transfer fee are said to have been agreed, with the reported fee in the region of €7 million (£6.3m).

Nasri could head to Dubai


Samir Nasri has been offered a contract of around €4 million (£3.6m) per year by UAE Pro-League side Shabab Al-Ahli Dubai FC, say Foot Mercato.

Having been released by West Ham after making five league appearances for the club after joining in January, the former Arsenal and Manchester City player is a wanted man.

Nasri, who turns 32 today, has reportedly already turned down advances from a Ligue Un side and Olympiacos.

Bayern switch attention to Dembele

Bayern Munich will turn their attention toward Barcelona's Ousmane Dembele if a deal cannot be made for Leroy Sane, according to BILD.

The Bundesliga champions have been heavily linked with the City winger for months but have been frustrated in their chase so far - while the sale of 22-year-old Dembele could help Barca finance a sensational return for Neymar.

France international Dembele already has experience of German football, having played for Borussia Dortmund during the 2016-17 season.

Tottenham are close to finalising a deal for Leeds winger Jack Clarke, reports the Mail.

The two clubs are believed to have agreed a fee worth in the region of £8.5 million (£10.8m).

The 18-year-old, who is an academy graduate at the Yorkshire club, made 25 appearances under Marcelo Bielsa last season.

Buffon's agent hints at Juve talks


Rumours of a shock return to Juventus have been added to by the agent of Gianluigi Buffon. 

With the goalkeeper having been linked with a return to his old side, his agent has confirmed that it is at least being considered. 

Silvano Martina told SportItalia: "For now, it’s just an idea."

Garry Monk and Darren Moore are among the contenders for the Derby job as the club prepare for life after Frank Lampard, according to the Mail.

The Rams gave permission for Chelsea to speak to their manager on Tuesday so have begun the process of finding his replacement.

Milan are said to be preparing a €5 million (£4.5m/$5.7m) two-year loan offer with the option to make the move permanent for around €30 million (£27m/$34m).

Man City and Man Utd willing to pay £65m for Maguire


Manchester City and Manchester United have told Leicester they are prepared to pay £65million ($82.4m) for Harry Maguire, according to Sky Sports.

Both clubs have been in talks with the Foxes for several weeks but have yet to reach an agreement.

Maguire is happy at Leicester and won't attempt to force a move but would be open to the idea of moving to one of the division's top clubs if given the opportunity.

Benitez exit could spark Newcastle exodus


Ayoze Perez is among a number of Newcastle players considering their futures following the departure of manager Rafael Benitez, according to The Sun.

Benitez will leave the club when his contract expires on Sunday after failing to reach an agreement over fresh terms on Tyneside.

As a result a number of players are thinking of following the Spaniard out of the exit door including Perez, Federico Fernandez, Fabian Schar and Martin Dubravka.


Mendes agrees Lyon deal


Lille midfielder Thiago Mendes has agreed a move to Lyon, report RMC Sport.

The Brazilian midfielder's agent was in Lyon on Tuesday to finalise the terms of his contract.

The two clubs are also close to agreeing a fee, believed to be in the region of €25 million (£22m/$28m).

Liverpool not interested in Pepe


Reports suggesting Liverpool are in talks with Lille over a deal for Nicolas Pepe are “pure lies”, according to the Liverpool Echo.

It had been claimed that the Reds were in discussions with the French club for the 24-year-old.

Those rumours have been swiftly denied, however, with Liverpool Sporting director Michael Edwards even contacting Lille manager Christophe Galtier earlier this month to insist that Liverpool had no interest in the player.

Arsenal to make improved Tierney bid


Arsenal are set to return with an improved £19 million ($24.1m) bid for Celtic defender Kieran Tierney, reports the Mail.

Unai Emery has made the left-back one of his top transfer targets this summer and hopes to reach a compromise with the Scottish champions.

Rodgers close to first Foxes signing


Leicester are close to sealing a deal for Luton defender James Justin, according to the Telegraph.

Former Italy goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon could be about to make a dramatic return to Juventus, according to Gianluca di Marzio.

The 41-year-old spent 17 years in Turin before joining Paris Saint-Germain on a one-year deal last summer.

Buffon has since left PSG at the expiry of his contract and is now set to make a shock return to Juve on a 12-month deal as back-up to Wojciech Szczesny.


Everton complete Gomes signing


Everton have completed the permanent signing of midfielder Andre Gomes from Barcelona for a fee of €25 million (£22m/$28.4m).

The 25-year-old, who spent last season on loan at Goodison Park, has signed a five-year deal with the Toffees.

Spurs to pay £55m for France star

Tottenham are close to agreeing a club record deal to sign Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele, according to the Telegraph.

The London club are ready to pay £55 million ($70m) for the 22-year-old, which would beat the previous record of £42m ($53m) paid for Davinson Sanchez two years ago.

If the deal goes through it will be Tottenham's first permanent signing since Lucas Moura from Paris Saint-Germain in January 2018.
