Kenichi upbeat ahead of Vita Club trip in Caf Confederation Cup

Aduana Stars coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi admits they face an uphill battle in their trip to Kinshasa to face Congolese giants AS Vita Club in the group stage of Caf Confederation Cup on Sunday.

The Ghanaian champions recorded their first victory in Group A thanks to a 2-1 scoreline and have moved two places up to second on the log. 

They must avoid defeat in the reverse fixture to stand a better chance of picking one of the two slots for the next stage.

2ng leg against AS Vita Club will be more difficult than the 1st leg. All our efforts have to be picked up few notches to bring a win back from Congo.

As part of Aduana's preparation towards the game, Kenichi has appointed striker Yahaya Mohammed as the club's new captain to replace goalkeeper Joseph Addo, who has come under criticisms following his recent blunders.

In Casablanca, table leaders Raja after picking a vital away win last week in Cote d'Ivoire, will host Asec Mimosas.
