The 22-year-old, who received his first U.S. call-up this month, still must complete additional eligibility requirements before being allowed to play for the national team. Manneh has lived in Washington state during his time with the Whitecaps in order to maintain his path to U.S. citizenship.

A Gambia native, Manneh moved to the U.S. in 2010 and played for the Austin Aztex of the USL PDL in 2012 before being selected fourth overall by Vancouver in the 2013 SuperDraft. The speedy winger has compiled 22 goals and 12 assists over 98 appearances in four MLS campaigns.
