Kaizer Chiefs chairman Kaizer Motaung has confirmed that they have approached Fifa to resolve the matter involving Andriamirado Andrianarimanana's move to Naturena.
Amakhosi have been trying ever so hard to get 'Dax' registered with the PSL, but they cannot, simply because Fosa Juniors claim that he still belongs to them.
Andrianarimanana was spotted by Chiefs during the Cosafa Cup tournament in Polokwane two months ago, before the Soweto giants offered him a professional contract to join them.
However, his club, Fosa Juniors withheld his clearance, claiming that Amakhosi didn't follow the right procedure when signing the player.
According to Motaung, Chiefs tried all they could to compensate Fosa Juniors, but the two parties couldn't come to an agreement hence the PSL side saw it fit to approach Fifa for intervention.
"We are happy with what we have right now. The only player we are waiting to get a final decision for from Fifa is Andriamirado Andrianarimanana from Madagascar, otherwise the acquisitions that we have so far speak for themselves," said Motaung.
"Any day now we'll get a response... a final decision from them (Fifa)," he confirmed.
"First and foremost he has got no contract - he is amateur so to speak, but he doesn't have a contract. We made an offer to the Madasgar team because they're entitled for compensation, but obviously somebody saw an opportunity to try and bring some lotto figures to catch him," he explained.
"Unfortunately we couldn't come to a final agreement hence we had to go to Fifa for intervention otherwise he's confident that he's got no contract. The contract he had expired almost eight or 10 months ago which was also an amateur contract. So, they cannot withhold his move anywhere in the world," added Motaung.
According to the Amakhosi supremo, Dax is fit and ready to play for the Glamour Boys, and as soon as the matter is resolved, he will be available for selection.
