EA Sports announce FIFA 19 ePremier League tournament

EA Sports and the Premier League have announced the creation of the first ever ePremier League tournament on FIFA 19.

Every Premier League club will feature in the competition, and each will host a play-off round to select two lucky FIFA 19 gamers to represent them in the competition.

That means that UK-based fans will be able to enter, with the possibility of taking to the field to play for your team.

The tournament will be split across three stages, and launches in January of 2019, with the ePL final set to be held in London in March of next year. It will also be aired live on Sky Sports.

Players will play the game for two months, spanning online qualification - anyone can enter, so get practicing - and later the live club play-offs and the live final.

One player will be chosen to represent each Premier League club on each platform (PlayStation 4 and Xbox One).

Registration for the tournament opens on December 3, while online qualification begins in January and club play-offs span February and March.

The final will take place over two days, March 28 and 29.
