Following Pahang's 3-1 away win over Melaka United FC in their Super League match on Saturday, the Elephants head coach Dollah Salleh said he was satisfied with his team's performance in the encounter.

"I am satisfied, today was the best performance that my men produced.

"The only hitch was in the final few minutes, when a number of injuries meant I had to make a few changes including the goalkeeper, and that disrupted the tempo somewhat and Melaka took advantage of it," said Dollah in an interview with the match broadcaster.

Pahang were in the driving seat from the start to the end of the match, through goals from Joseph Kalang Tie (21'), Matheus Alves (42') and Mahamadou Sumareh (57'), with the homeside's consolation goal coming in the 89th minute through Ahmad Khuzaimi Piee.

And the former Malaysia head coach wants his men to perform just as well in their next match, a league encounter against PKNS FC at home on Tuesday.

"What's important is we play (against PKNS) like we did today. And I believe that is not impossible," said Dollah.

The win is the Elephant's fourth in the league this season, and kept them in second place just one point behind leaders Kedah.
