Discipline and determination inspire my top saves, reveals Abuja’s Aluko

Fosla Academy, Abuja goalkeeper Moses Aluko credited dedication, discipline and determination as inspiration for his dazzling saves in the Copa Coca-Cola national finals.

Aluko who was on song for the Abuja representatives with strings of top saves that ensured they finished at the top of group A with a 1-0 victory over Muslim Secondary School, Kwara explained that his dedication, determination inspired his performance.

The 13-year-old player who doubles as the captain of the Ilorin regionals champions also credited his teammates for their spirited performances that spurred his brilliant saves.

'My prayers, talent, discipline, dedication, and determination stood out for me today,” Aluko told Goal.

'Our defenders played well today and I was inspired to put in more effort while controlling my defenders so I could not afford any mistake because we all played well.

Aluko picked Manchester City’s Claudo Bravo as his role model and hopes to play for Zinedine Zidane's men in the coming years.

"Bravo is my role model but I will love to play for Real Madrid because of their success and they do not give up easily," he added.
