AC Milan have several injury problems to deal with heading into the meeting with Chelsea.
They were already without the likes of striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Mike Miagnan, Theo Hernandez, Divock Origi and Alessandro Florenzi, but the fitness issues grew even worse over the weekend when Davide Calabria, Alexis Saelemaekers and Simon Kjaer all came off injured against Empoli.
Meanwhile, Chelsea have had their own fitness problems to contend with, but coach Graham Potter has been given a bit of a boost of late as N’Golo Kante, Marc Cucurella and Edouard Mendy are all nearing a return.
It is unclear if the trio will be fit to start against the Rossoneri, though the Blues managed to get the job done without them against Crystal Palace.
They will be eager to get a second straight victory under their new coach to ensure they climb off of bottom spot in the group.
