Boost for Mathare United as winger returns

Mathare United have been boosted by the return of winger Daniel Mwaura ahead of their league match against Muhoroni Youth set for Saturday.

Mwaura was absent when the 'Slum Boys' fell 1-2 to Sofapaka in their previous match while serving his ban having been red carded against Nzoia Sugar.

He is now back and ready to shine for the Francis Kimanzi coached side at Muhoroni Stadium. "It feels good to be back and available for selection. I felt like I let the team down by being sent off but I am now ready to give my best."

"We have a tough match ahead of us but we are approaching it with a positive mind. It is important that we win and collect as many points as possible in the first leg," he told the club’s official facebook page.
