There has been plenty of negativity surrounding Atletico Madrid this season, not at least about their Champions League campaign which is on the verge of coming to a disasterous early end.

In La Liga there have also been rumblings about Los Rojiblancos' lack of clinical finishing, yet the fact remains that Diego Simeone's men have this term recorded their longest ever unbeaten start to a league campaign.

The 5-0 win at Levante last weekend made it 13 games without defeat in the Primera Division with Atleti having already faced every team in the top six, and Saturday afternoon sees seventh placed Real Sociedad - one of the most entertaining sides in the Spanish top flight - visit the Estadio Wanda Metropolitano.

Their total of 27 goals scored is the third highest in the division, although their record of 24 conceded is one of the worst in La Liga, which creates an equation which has generally lead to excitement and entertainment whenever the San Sebastian outfit have played this term.

La Real are offered at 11/2 (6.50) by dabblebet to record their fourth away win of the season, while Atletico can be backed at 8/15 (1.53) and the draw is offered at 16/5 (4.20).

In their 13 league matches so far this season, Real Sociedad have found the back of the net in 12, and there could well be some profit to be made in backing them to do so once more in Madrid.

Both teams to score is priced at evens (2.00) and this bet has paid out in four of Atleti's last six matches in La Liga and the Champions League at their new stadium.

Wednesdsay night saw La Real continue to entertain the neutral by losing 3-2 at home to third-tier Lleida to be knocked out of the Copa Del Rey, and while the Basques always look dangerous going forward, they remain defensively vulnerable.
