    Evans was playing in the Championship with Millwall when Wrexham showed interest in him over the summer. The 28-year-old didn't think twice about dropping down two divisions to join the Hollywood-owned club, and says he is now loving life in Wales.

    Evans has quickly become a key figure at the Racecourse as Phil Parkinson's side have put together an impressive 11-game unbeaten run. The Manchester City academy graduate was named the player of the match in Wrexham's 2-0 win against Gillingham last weekend. Evans has featured in 14 matches so far this season for his new club.

    Evans told the Leader: "I am loving my time here. When this opportunity came up, it was something I couldn't turn down.I am delighted to be here, it is a fantastic football club and I feel at home. It's a great set of lads, staff and everything about the club."

    WHAT NEXT FOR EVANS AND WREXHAM?

    Evans will look to continue his fine form as Wrexham aim for a second consecutive promotion. The Red Dragons are second in League Two, five points behind leaders Stockport County. On Saturday they'll travel to Lancashire to face Accrington Stanley.
