World Cup winner Mbappe and Brazil international Vinicius – fresh from scoring in another Champions League final and putting himself in Ballon d'Or contention – are now team-mates at Real Madrid following a high-profile free agent move to Santiago Bernabeu from the aforementioned French frontman.

There has been talk of Haaland joining them in Spain at some stage, as he has exit clauses that can be triggered in his contract at Premier League title holders Manchester City. For now, the trio are having to make do with being united away from the field.

They have been joined by Brazil and Barcelona legend Ronaldinho in the latest production from boot manufacturers Nike, which sees them display the grit, determination and dedication required to reach the very top – which could be considered “madness” by some.
