Colombian forward in fine form
Leads Golden Boot race in 2024
Bagged a hat-trick in latest game
WHAT HAPPENED?
The Colombia international forward is, like Inter Miami talisman Messi, another player that has been in fine form this season. He netted a hat-trick in his latest appearance, with RSL easing their way to a crushing 5-1 victory over Austin FC.
Arango opened the scoring against Austin in stunning style, as he took aim from just inside his own half. Having spotted Brad Stuver a long way off his line, Arango proceeded to fire a long-range effort over the goalkeeper's head that soared into the back of the net.
WHAT NEXT?
With impressive individual standards being maintained, Arango has become the second-fastest player in MLS history to reach 50 goals – pulling level with Raul Ruidiaz on that chart after reaching a half-century in 76 games. He has two hat-tricks and five multi-game goals this season, which is his second with RSL.
