U.S. international Christian Pulisic scored a crucial equalizer in the 53rd minute before Tijjani Reijnders’ winner, helping AC Milan fight back to a 2-1 victory over Como at San Siro. The goal came after Como had taken an early lead through Da Cunha in the 33rd minute, setting the stage for Milan's comeback. This marks the second time in as many games that the Rossoneri have come from behind to secure a win after a rousing comeback against Lecce in their last game.
Pulisic touched upon that in his postgame interview and admitted that the team struggled a lot in the first half but things changed after they walked out for the break.
“It was two different games in the first and second half. That’s normal for us this season. We struggled a lot in the first half but changed things up and did well in the second half,” Pulisic said.
“Instinct. I really didn’t see the net, I had no clue where the net was but I turned and took it. There was a bit of luck,” the American added regarding his equalizer.
