Sunderland and Wolves target Borussia Dortmund star who is dreaming of Premier League switch

Ryerson has attracted interest from the Premier League, a competition the player considers his dream destination, according to Sky Sport. While Ryerson is a key figure for Niko Kovac's team and is happy in Germany, he has suitors in the form of Sunderland and Wolves. Both clubs have contacted the player's entourage for initial enquiries. 

Ryerson joined Dortmund from Union Berlin in 2023 and has been a mainstay in the team. He has featured for the Black and Yellow 101 times since then and has cemented his place as a first-team regular. The player signed a new contract at Dortmund last October, which ties him to the club until 2028. However, his dream of playing in England might compel him to submit to the offers from the Premier League.

Newly-promoted Sunderland are in the market for a new full-back to boost their hopes of Premier League survival and adding a 27-year-old Champions League finalist to their ranks may be a smart idea. Wolves, meanwhile, need to invest in a new full-back after seeing Nelson Semedo leave for Fenerbahce.

While any development is far from concrete on the current date, a possible move for Ryerson to the Premier League can't be thrown out of the window.
