PSG wonderkid Desire Doue reacts to Kylian Mbappe comparisons - with teen sensation following in the illustrious footsteps of record-shattering World Cup winner

Doue, who joined PSG last summer from Rennes, is enjoying a dream debut campaign with the French champions. While he has not regularly featured in Luis Enrique's starting lineups, the youngster has made 43 appearances across all competitions where he has scored 12 goals and provided as many assists.

Doue's brilliant start to his journey in the French capital has obviously drawn comparisons with former PSG star Mbappe. Like the France national team captain, Doue joined PSG as a teenager and has been highly impressive in his very first season. The wonderkid has now reacted to the comparisons with the Madrid icon.

Speaking to Telefoot, Doue said: "I’ve been told about the comparisons, but I’m Desire Doue, Kylian is Kylian. He’s a sensational player and has already done a lot in football. I’m trying to create my own path."

Luis Enrique's side are all set to travel to England this week as they take on Aston Villa in the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final fixture at Villa Park.
