<p>Pogba was given a four-year ban after testing positive for a banned substance but a <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/explained-why-paul-pogba-doping-ban-reduced-cas-confirm-four-year-suspension-juventus-ex-man-utd-midfielder-cut-18-months/bltde5a6a37cc2133af" target="_blank">successful appeal saw it cut down to 18 months</a>. He will now be allowed to train with Juventus in January before being eligible to play again in March.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>It is not yet known if Pogba will be wearing the Juventus jersey when he steps back onto the field for the first time since September 2023 as there are <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/paul-pogba-advanced-discussions-marseille-january-transfer-former-man-utd-star-mason-greenwood-ligue-1/blta34c7f11fb66d43b" target="_blank">reports of a possible January transfer to Marseille</a>. Regardless, the France international is already preparing for his return.</p>
