    TELL ME MORE

Mullin needed just 16 seconds to fire Wrexham ahead at the New York Stadium. Wrexham's talisman fired home a cross by Ryan Barnett to give the visitors the perfect start. An entertaining first half saw Rotherham press hard for an equaliser but they were denied by some solid Wrexham defending. Goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo saved from Joe Rafferty and Christ Tiehi and then did brilliantly to keep out a Joe Powell free-kick that took a flick off a Wrexham head.

More chances flowed after the break with James McClean going close for the visitors and Mullin testing Cameron Dawson in the Rotherham goal. Yet Mallik Wilks was causing Wrexham problems and forced Okonkwo to turn a shot behind. The Wrexham stopper also denied Cohen Bramall late on to preserve his clean sheet and ensure the Welsh side head back home with all three points.

    THE MVP

Mullin took over from the injured Jack Marriott and needed just 16 seconds to bag his first League One goal of the season for Wrexham. It was a decent effort from Mullin too. Barnett teased his defender out wide on the right before sending in a cross, with Mullin nipping in front of his marker and volleying home. The striker's only other goal this season came in the EFL Trophy win over Salford City but he's now off the mark in the league for the Red Dragons.

  • THE BIG LOSER

Rotherham's fans had a tough afternoon after seeing their side beaten at home by Wrexham. Supporters were quick to voice their frustration at the match officials and ended up being outsung by the 2,356 visiting fans. Rotherham also had to see former player Ollie Rathbone come on as a substitute for Wrexham as he faced his former club for the first time since his summer departure.
