    The shocking incident happened in the first half of the match as Musiala raced to the byline. He found himself sandwiched between PSG defender Willian Pacho and the onrushing Donnarumma. In an attempt to collect the ball, the Italian goalkeeper launched himself forward, but in the process, Musiala’s leg was caught awkwardly underneath the custodian's body.

    As the 22-year-old went down on the ground, his foot appeared to be unnaturally twisted at the ankle, a sight that left the players terrified. Musiala reportedly suffered a broken left fibula and will be sidelined for several months.

    Bayern will have to make do without Musiala for the majority of the 2025-26 campaign and it remains to be seen if they would consider signing the star player's replacement in the summer transfer window.
