Inspectors cut the club's food hygiene rating down from four to two stars out of five, The Daily Mail reports, as mouse droppings were discovered during a recent visit to the famous stadium. United are now working with partners and the local council to get rid of the problem.
United have long had issues with pest infestations which are linked to Old Trafford's location between a canal and a railway line, plus the cold winter weather is thought to have exacerbated the problem. Pest control professionals are reportedly visiting the club up to five times a week, the report adds.
