'Lessons have started' - Maya Jama learning Portuguese as Love Island star drops hint about romance with Man City ace Ruben Dias

Rumours of Dias dating the Love Island presenter started spreading after the couple spent New Year's Eve together at Ibiza. Reports then emerged that the couple have been secretly dating for a few months. The rumours then intensified after Valentine's Day, when Jama posted a photograph of her receiving a bouquet and the couple were then spotted wearing identical Cartier 'LOVE Bracelets'.

On Saturday, the Love Island host dropped a major hint that she is learning Portuguese. Jama appeared on the red carpet of the BRIT Awards and after the event, she took to Instagram to share a clip, where she can be seen sipping a coconut cocktail. Game Set & Match reported that in the background of the story, the voice of Dias can be heard speaking to Jama and the latter replying in Portuguese to the defender. Jama then captioned the post: 'Lessons have started'.

Dias previously dated Love Island star Arabella Chi for around six months, while Jama confirmed her split from rap star Stormzy in July 2024.

The Portugal international will be back in action for Pep Guardiola's side on March 8 as they take on Nottingham Forest in a difficult Premier League fixture.
