The Italian striker has been without a club since leaving Turkish side Adana Demirspor in July. He has reportedly received many offers from around the world, from including Australia, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Japan. The 34-year-old reached an agreement to join Brazilian side Corinthians, but the move collapsed in July.
Genoa are not the only team linked with the former Inter and AC Milan player. According to La Stampa, Torino are also considering signing the 36-time Italy international after they lost forward Duvan Zapata to injury.
