Luis Enrique talks up PSG's quadruple chances and reveals potentially historic feat is 'motivating' Kylian Mbappe and Co

PSG, who have an 11-point lead at the top of the Ligue 1 table, could clinch the league title as early as Wednesday should they beat Lorient and Monaco drop points against Lille. They won the French Super Cup back in January and have reached the final of Coupe de France and the last-four stage of the Champions League.

Now manager Luis Enrique has opened up on the team's possibility of bagging the quadruple as he admitted achieving the historic feat is working as a major motivation for his players in the dressing room at the business end of the season.

Speaking to reporters, Luis Enrique said, "The quadruple? Of course, we talk about it. It's a motivation. It is a way of writing the club's history and the city's history. But the most important is not what we win but how we win, how we play. We have eight games left, hopefully nine and we will put the same commitment in all of them.

"It's motivating us. For the moment, we have one title [the French Super Cup]. We need to win the league and continue to fight in Ligue 1 to respect the other clubs. After we will have the French Cup final against Lyon [on May 25], a special game. It is a long and sinuous road. We will have to be very focused at this end of the season."

Les Parisiens are set to face Lorient and Le Havre in their next two Ligue 1 matches on Tuesday and Saturday respectively before they take on Borussia Dortmund in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final fixture on May 1.
