Lionesses star Mary Earps picks the best women's and men's goalkeepers in the world as PSG No.1 attends football-basketball crossover court event in Paris
Paris Saint-Germain and England star Mary Earps has given her take on who the best women's and men's goalkeepers in the world are.
The 31-year-old was asked about who stands out the most between the sticks in the sport. The former Manchester United ace believes Liverpool's Alisson is the best in the men's game and NJ/NY Gotham FC's Ann-Katrin Berger tops the pile for the women. She also gave an honourable mention to Chicago Red Stars' Alyssa Naeher.

WHAT MARY EARPS SAID
Speaking at PlayStation’s football and basketball crossover concept court event in Paris, Earps said: "Ann-Katrin Berger [is the best] based on last year. I think across the whole season you’d have to say Alyssa Naeher or Ann-Katrin Berger.
"In the men’s game, Liverpool’s Allison is still the best goalkeeper for me, all around."
THE BIGGER PICTURE
Berger and Alisson have proven to be among the very best keepers in the sport and the fact that Earps, who to many is seen as the number one stopper in the women's game, is heaping such praise on these two adds extra weight.
