Lionel Messi equals impressive MLS record set by Thierry Henry as Inter Miami star adds to awards collection after history-making performance against New York Red Bulls
The eight-time Ballon d’Or winner continues to rewrite the history books during his time in the United States – with his entries this season including most assists in a single game (five), most goal contributions in a single game (six), first player to record multiple goal contributions in five consecutive games and most goal contributions (16) through his first seven games of a MLS campaign.
