O’Sullivan’s journey towards a seventh World Championship title has been caught on camera by Amazon Prime, with fans getting a behind the scenes look at the challenges he faces on and off the table. England international Bellingham may be among those to have taken inspiration from an all-time great of the sporting world.

Bellingham has been taking a break from the demands of elite football competition, with the 20-year-old midfielder – who recently collected the prestigious Golden Boy award for 2023 – looking to relax in between outings for La Liga giants Real Madrid.

Bellingham has been spotted with a cue in hand, as he swaps football for the pool table, and O’Sullivan has taken the opportunity to poke fun at the Three Lions star. ‘The Rocket’ has said of seeing Bellingham take to the baize: “*watches half an hour of the ronnie doc*” O’Sullivan has also told Bellingham to let him know if ever fancies a game.

For now, Bellingham is focused on chasing down major honours of his own in Spain. He has been smashing records previously posted by Cristiano Ronaldo – with 15 goals recorded for Real Madrid through just 17 appearances. He has been nursing a shoulder problem, which may require surgery at some stage, but is prepared to put his body on the line for the good of a star-studded collective cause at Santiago Bernabeu.
