Intercontinental Cup 2024: Tickets set to go on sale for FIFA club tournament in Qatar

  • WHAT HAPPENED?

    Ticket sales for the FIFA Intercontinental Cup 2024 in Qatar is set to go live shortly. FIFA has announced that the tickets will be live from Thursday, November 21, for the general public. Meanwhile, Visa cardholders will have access to the tickets from November 14 during a pre-sale period.

    The FIFA club tournament will feature three games, with each game having a title on offer. The first two games will be held at Stadium 974 while the final game (Intercontinental Cup) will be held at Lusail Stadium.

    Interestingly, European champions Real Madrid have directly qualified for the final game on December 18.

    The three finals during the tournament are as follows:

    1. FIFA Derby of the Americas, November 11: This game will be played between Pachuca CF (CONCACAF Champions League winners) and CONMEBOL Copa Libertadores 2024 champions who are yet to be determined.
    2. FIFA Challenger Cup, November 14: This match will be played between the winners of the FIFA Derby of the Americas and Egypt's Al Ahly SC (CAF Champions League winners).
    3. FIFA Intercontinental Cup, November 18: The winners of the Challenger Cup game will take on Real Madrid for the Intercontinental Cup title.

  • HOW TO BUY TICKETS FOR INTERCONTINENTAL CUP?

    Fans can purchase tickets for the Intercontinental Cup only from FIFA's official website from November 21, 2024. However, those who have Visa cards can access tickets from November 14 (12 pm local time) as they have an exclusive presale window.

    Each fan will be allowed to purchase six tickets per person. It must be noted that tickets bought from FIFA's official website only will be valid.

    Commendably, both venues for the tournament will offer a wide range of seating options for disabled fans.
