INEOS crack the whip at Man Utd! Sir Jim Ratcliffe moves to end work-from-home culture as he orders non-playing staff back into the office

According to The Athletic, the INEOS chief asked the club's non-playing staff to come back to the office during a meeting on Wednesday, as he looks to end the work-from-home culture at United. The diktat reportedly receives mixed reviews as a section of the employees were excited to see things shaking up at Old Trafford while the other side will now have to make changes in their work-life balance.

The working-from-home culture came into practice at the club post the COVID-19 outbreak like any other organisations across the world, however, it is understood that Ratcliffe wants to bring the Red Devils in line with his company's policy of bringing back employees to the offices.

The Athletic also reports that one major problem that INEOS might face in bringing back all non-playing employees to the office is the lack of desk spaces in their Manchester and London units. Post the pandemic, the office spaces were rearranged to suit the more flexible working culture.

Erik ten Hag's side will be back in action Monday as they travel to Selhurst Park to take on Crystal Palace in a crucial Premier League encounter.
