<p>Leverkusen were aiming to defend their DFB Pokal title as they took the field in the semi-final of the competition on Tuesday against German third-tier team Arminia Bielefeld. The reigning champions, however, were knocked out of the competition after they <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/watch-humiliation-bayer-leverkusen-arminia-bielefeld-fans-storm-pitch-german-cup/blt4befb47029995736#csd2aca3f3670a9e72" target="_blank">went down 2-1 against the lower-division club</a>. After the game, Leverkusen star and former Arsenal midfielder Xhaka was spotted furiously quarrelling with the fans while pointing his finger at them. </p>
