adidas have hit the ground running in 2025 with the launch of Predator 25 and a sizzling red colourway, and there is no sign of the German sportswear behemoth slowing up.

Buried in the brilliant launch video for the new boot, adidas teased the re-release of Zinedine Zidane's gold Predator Precision from 2001 - given to him after he was named FIFA World Player of the Year in 2000. The French icon is seen entering a bank vault before unboxing the classic Preds and saying, "Let's go". We can't wait to see how these turn out.

Sure, Charli XCX's brat summer was great, but real ones know the soundtrack of those heady few months of intermittent sunshine was actually 'The Best a Man Can Get' from the Gillette adverts. Tom Grennan's reimagined version of the 1989 tune somehow became the unofficial soundtrack of England's run to the final of Euro 2024, and its impact has now been recognised.

Men's grooming brand Gillette has teamed up with Nottingham-based nostalgia specialists Art of Football to create a vintage shirt to immortalise this moment in football culture. The 80s design features a nice big white collar, blue and black geometric print, embroidered crest and, of course, Gillette's branding and 'The Best a Man Can Get' tagline as the sponsor. If that wasn't already good enough, all profits will be donated to the charity Football Beyond Borders.

The FA Cup is back for 2025, and Manchester United produced some magic by overcoming Arsenal on penalties despite playing most of the second half and extra time with 10 men.

United's penalties were flawless, but Gunners stopper David Raya was called out after the game for some pretty unorthodox diving - going way too early and launching himself in the wrong direction like Superman for pretty much every kick.

Paris Saint-Germain have done the world capital of style justice down the years with their collaborations with Nike's Jordan, and they are back with the fresh 'WINGS' collection for 2025.

The capsule will land just in time for fashion week in the city, including PSG's latest 'Jumpman' fourth kit that has been designed to have long sleeves to make space for the wing motifs that are a nod to the link between the two brands, and luxury pieces that blur the lines between sportswear and luxury. Tres, tres bien.

Designed with direct feedback from Arsenal's Bukayo Saka in mind, New Balance have dropped the latest iteration of their speed boot, the Furon v8. The new design incorporates a speed control stud and ultra-lightweight upper.

Although there's noting wrong with the general look of it, the colourway is exactly the same as Saka's signature Furon v7 and uses a very similar palette to other recent versions. A fresh paintjob would have done them no harm.

Jude Bellingham is well on his way to becoming a fashion icon off the pitch, and he's been making us feel all sorts of ways recently with a tweak to his on-field look.

To go with his new Predators, he Real Madrid and England superstar has thrown it back to Zidane's heyday at the Bernabeu by tucking in his shirt with the famous No.5 on his back. Kylian Mbappe's been at it, too. Welcome nods to a bygone era.

Things have gone from bad to worse for Pep Guardiola, with his work life apparently taking its toll on his personal life behind the scenes. It was reported this week that his marriage to Cristina Serra has come to an end after 30 years together.

Apparently, it was his decision to sign a new two-year contract with Manchester City back in November that was the 'final straw' for his spouse, who was under the impression this season would be his last with the club before the family build a new life in the UAE.

In the modern era, footballers tend to keep their private lives well out of the public eye, and that's fair enough. Nottingham Forest's Ola Aina is bucking that trend, though, giving his Snapchat followers a hilariously authentic insight into his day-to-day life and internal dialogues.

His latest story to go viral followed the draw with Liverpool in midweek, as he posted a couple of pictures in deep thought and the caption: "I don't know. Did Liverpool catch life? Or did we? Because they scored a lucky corner. But also they were letting off hella shots. But then again it was access denied for them man there."

David Moyes gave us all a much-needed shot of nostalgia as he was reappointed Everton manager this week - almost 12 years after he left the club to take over at Man Utd.

The Scot's return to the Goodison dugout has thrust us back to the mid-noughties and has us all yearning for the days of Tim Howard, Tim Cahill and Steven Pienaar. They say you should never go back in football, but hopefully Moyesy can restore those good times.

It is an unwritten rule that the north London derby should always, always be red vs white, but Tottenham committed a cardinal sin in midweek as they rocked up to the Emirates in their blue away strip.

Who to blame for this travesty is really up to you; according to Premier League rules, Arsenal's adidas home kit for 2024-25 features too much white to guarantee there wouldn't be a clash. Blasphemy.
