Kai Rooney has made father Wayne “proud” after netting the winning goal for Manchester United that secured their U15 team a trophy.
Rooney junior, who is now 15 years of age, has been causing quite a stir in the Red Devils’ famed academy system. Videos posted on social media have shown that he boasts the same finishing skills as his famous dad.
Kai has become a prolific presence at youth level, while silverware has been lifted on a regular basis. He has another honour to his name after inspiring United to victory in the U15 Premier League Floodlit Cup North competition.
