The Portuguese attacker met a pin-point cross from Alexander-Arnold inside the Sevilla box before finding the back of the net with a sumptuous first-time volley to break the deadlock in the 30th minute of a pre-season friendly at Anfield.

Luis Diaz soon netted a brace as the Reds took a convincing 3-0 first-half lead. Arne Slot's side are scheduled to face Las Palmas in their last pre-season friendly match just a few hours after completing the clash against Sevilla. They will kick off the new 2024/25 season on Saturday against newly promoted Premier League side Ipswich Town.
