Dani Olmo warning sent out to Man City, Bayern and Barcelona as RB Leipzig offer update on €60m-rated Euro 2024 star

Barcelona, Manchester City and Bayern Munich have been the most vocal clubs connected to Olmo this summer. However, Leipzig have stood their ground against the European big dogs as they have already set their asking price for the Spanish international. The Bundesliga side had asked interested parties to cough up Olmo's release clause of €60 million (£50.6m/$65m), however, the clause has now expired and clubs will have to negotiate with Leipzig.

Olmo was one of the top players for Luis de la Fuente as Spain cruised to the Euro 2024 trophy in Berlin. The Leipzig forward stepped up for La Roja following Pedri's injury against Germany in the quarter-final. As a result, a number of clubs immediately picked up an interest in the 26-year-old. RB Leipzig CEO Johann Plenge has now revealed that the club is ready to sell the Spaniard but will only do so for the right price.

Speaking to kicker, Plenge said: "Dani is highly regarded and is our player - and that will still be the case when we start training again after the trip to the USA and nothing happens until then.

"He played a very strong European Championship, so it was clear that other top clubs were knocking on the door. Transfers are part of the business and are a source of income. But they are also just one of many. One thing is clear: we will not sell any player for less than he is worth.

"We are not under pressure to sell. We plan commercially and also with transfer income, but if we don't generate any, for example, because an offer does not meet our expectations, we will have to generate other income."

Barcelona remains the likeliest destination for Olmo as the club rates the La Masia graduate highly, however, they are waiting to see what Nico Williams' future holds as they keep Olmo's move in the background.
