    Reports from Sky Sports Germany confirm that Al-Nassr have reached a full agreement with Leverkusen which will see the 24-year-old earn a staggering €15 million net per season at his new club. The striker has already completed his medical examinations, clearing the final hurdle for the move.

    Boniface’s debut season at Leverkusen was nothing short of spectacular. The striker played a pivotal role in the club’s treble-winning campaign, lifting the Bundesliga, the German Cup, and the German Super Cup, which earned him the Bundesliga's Rookie of the Season award. During that season, he made 34 appearances, scoring an impressive 21 goals and providing 10 assists.

    Boniface’s absence from Leverkusen’s training on Tuesday fuelled speculation about his imminent departure. Speaking to reporters, Leverkusen head coach Xabi Alonso acknowledged the ongoing transfer discussions and confirmed that preparations for the team’s final Champions League group-stage match were proceeding without Boniface.

    “There are discussions with the club and we need to wait. We’re preparing without Boni,” Alonso told reporters Tuesday.

    “We will see. We need to wait a bit more but our preparation is with the rest of our squad who are ready and fit and in good shape at the moment. It’s the last Champions League game and that’s our focus.”

    With Boniface leaving for Saudi Arabia, Leverkusen have begun their search for a replacement striker. One of their top targets is Brighton and Hove Albion’s Evan Ferguson. The Irish forward has drawn interest from several Premier League clubs, including West Ham United, but Leverkusen remain hopeful of securing his services.
