According to The Athletic, Chelsea are close to agreeing on a deal in the region of £19 million ($24m/€22m) for the 18-year-old Villa prospect. Finer details have not been agreed but a deal is expected to be reached between the two Premier League clubs.

Left-back Ian Maatsen is expected to confirm his move to Villa Park in the coming days - despite currently being away at Euro 2024 with the Netherlands - with Kellyman going the opposite way to Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea have switched their transfer policy away from signing experienced international stars - such as Raheem Sterling and Thiago Silva - in recent transfer windows. The Blues are now targeting younger prospects like Kellyman and Palmeiras wonderkid Estevao Willian.
